On the off chance you’re spending part of your Christmas Day in front of a computer, or have just finished lighting your Hanukkah Candles, or just spending some quality time with your family, I wanted to wish you the very Happiest of Holidays and wishes for a prosperous new year.

Chances are, you first heard of me because of a webinar you were invited to attend. You know, the one about Six Simple Sales Page secrets.

During that webinar, I told a story about how I always look for marketing lesson…and I talked about a particular marketing lesson I discovered while on a cruise on the Mexican Riviera with my family. The lesson was "start where your customer already is.

It’s an important lesson to remember, no matter what you’re selling.

If you don’t recall the message, you can go watch the replay of the webinar here:

Well, I was thinking about that today because I happen to find myself on another cruise today, this one from Florida, through the Panama Canal, and up to Acapulco.

I’m on the hunt for more marketing messages, but mostly I’ll just be concentrating on spending time with my family.

I hope you’ll do the same.

And I hope that during these more difficult times for the economy you discover that your own future and economic livelihood are entirely within your control.

Here’s one little lesson I hope you’ve heard before.

Most people come up with a product and then go look for someone to sell it to.

But the RIGHT way to get into business — any business — is first to find a crowd that wants something, and then create the product that they already want.

Make sense?

It’s FAR easier than the other way around.

To Your Success in 2009.

Warm Wishes to you!

p.s. If you find yourself sitting on a product with no crowd looking for it, then do yourself a favor… resolve that your next product will be different.

It’s not that hard.

And the rewards are much, much larger.

(And I’ll help you all I can.)

I invite you to comment on this message. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah!
