What is Pagellan?

If I had told you a year ago that a coupon website would ever be worth more than a billion dollars, you’d have told me “No way!”

But it’s true.

You probably heard that last week that Groupon.com shunned a bid by Google to buy the coupon site for 6 Billion Dollars. That’s right — Groupon turned down Google’s 6 Billion Dollar offer.

Why do I mention this?

Well, stranger things have happened. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, even Google itself, all rose from the brilliance of someone’s brain to be worth many billions of dollars. They’re all ideas whose concept is so simple and whose purpose is so clear that it fills a void in the online world’s collective mind and habits.

I have a feeling it’s going to happen again.

That’s because my friend Dan Nickerson is what I’d call a serial entrepreneur. He’s also got a bit of a Midas Touch when it comes to creating money-making products and websites. (Two quick examples: The Socrates Theme for WordPress — a best seller published by Joel Comm — was Dan’s brainchild. So was iFart, which generated about a million dollars in sales at the iTunes Appstore.)

Dan has recently come up with a website that, like Google, Twitter and Facebook, is free.

But that’s not at all what makes it special. What makes it special is what it does.

  • It lets you follow smart people, learn from what they know, and get smarter.
  • It lets you post your own knowledge, and lets other people follow (and learn from) you.
  • It helps you get smarter and remember at whatever you’re interested in, because it stores all of your knowledge about anything you choose.

In short, it stores and organizes your information, and shares whatever parts you want with others.

It’s a social network without all of the inane updates that waste your time.

So, you can store, share or find any kind of knowledge — literally ANYthing you can think of — it’s here, on Pagellan:

http://www.Pagellan.us

Google’s mission is to organize ALL the world’s information.
Pagellan’s mission is to organize the information that’s important to YOU.

Simple, right?

Now…there’s one more thing you really need to know about Pagellan.

Imagine that you found out about Google Adwords way back in 2003, and someone said to you “Hey, you can pick any keyword you want, and from this day forward you can own all of the advertising for that keyword, FOREVER.”

Knowing what you know now about Adwords, would you have done it?

OF COURSE you would have. Imagine how much money you’d make from that every single day! It would be worth millions of dollars to you.

Well, that’s what Pagellan is allowing you to do, too.

I can’t do nearly as good a job of explaining Pagellan as Dan can. That’s why Dan has made a video that explains it all.

You can go watch it here: http://www.Pagellan.us

You’ll understand it all in about 6 minutes.

Whether you use Pagellan just to keep track of the important information you know, or whether you decide to get smarter by following other people, or even if you decide to corner your own most important keywords, go visit Pagellan today.

And remember this date, because it’s the first time (of thousands) that you’ll be hearing about Pagellan.

To Your Success,

–Mark

P.S. Twitter had a bright idea to help people communicate — kind of like a mass text message. Since then, it’s degenerated and is full of garbage information about people wondering what’s for dinner.

And although they recently added a search feature, you’d be hard pressed to find any bit of actual important information you had once tweeted.

That’s why Pagellan is so powerful. You can post and actually find what’s important to you, or find answers to your most important questions on any topic by doing a quick search.

Here…let Dan show you. Watch the quick Pagellan Video here.
