If you’ve ever wondered whether your landing page, squeeze page, or entire website was as good as it could be, I’ve got an answer for you.
IT ISN’T.
And there are two reasons why that’s probably the case:
1) “You’re probably not split testing.”
Split testing is the probably the single best way to improve the performance of your website. If you wanted to get more opt-ins, make more sales, and overall just make more money, split testing can get you there more quickly than any other method I know.

** ON THE OTHER HAND… **
If you’re already split testing, there is one more demon that may be getting in your way. And that brings us to the second reason why your site isn’t as good as it could be. It’s that…
2) “You’re testing things that won’t make much difference.”
What do I mean by that? Well, no matter how experienced you are in internet marketing, you only know SO MUCH. Even experts will admit that their knowledge and experience is limited, no matter how experienced they actually are. (That’s why the best experts ask for outside opinions from their own “marketing mastermind groups”).
The problem is that if you keep on looking at your own web page, wondering how you can improve it, all you’ll come up with are ideas that all come from the same perspective:
* the same gender bias
* the same age bias
* the same educational background
* the same cultural background
* the same marketing experience and…
* the same knowledge and understanding of your topic.
In other words…all the ideas come from YOU.
And if your site is currently built based your own ideas, more of your own ideas might not result in split tests that improve your site’s performance very much.
